When you don't submit a deliverable, your stats will have a direct impact. Once you accept a project, you will be given a very specific amount of time to deliver. This time will be specifically showed before it starts to elapse to ensure you can deliver within the deadline. If you give your final go, the system will start running the clock and we'll expect a delivery within this time frame. If a recording is not submitted, the submission will become an expiration in your stats.
If the project in question is a Speedy or a Contest, the project will reopen so other users can take care of it. If the project is a Booking, the expiration will count towards your stats, but we expect you to re-accept the project and submit your deliverable.
Will expirations impact my project invitations?
Yes. Expirations impact your stats which will, in return, impact your standing with our algorithm. This means that you may see fewer invitations if you let your accepted projects to expire. Keep in mind that the better your stats, the earlier you will be invited to participate in projects and the higher your samples will show in our Search feature.
I accepted a project but I realized I can't deliver. If I reject the project after that, will I be able to avoid the expiration?
No. If you accepted the project, the time will elapse and the expiration will happen even if you reject the project afterward. This is because we give you 2 chances to confirm the delivery time before accepting to work on it. We expect you to be aware of how much time you have to record before actually accepting as we will block a project from other Pros while you're are working on it.
