A sample is a 30-second piece of audio that is used to showcase a Pro's voice to our clients. There are various ways in which a Pro can have samples:
- When completing a project, our system will automatically create a sample out of the final deliverable approved by our client. This will happen if our client provides permission at the moment of approving the project.
- Recordings crafted outside of VoiceBunny that the Pro has permission to showcase freely.
The deliverable submitted in the application process will be the first sample in a Pro’s profile.
Can I upload samples in .mp3?
No. Our system will only accept samples in CD quality (.wav at 44.1kHz and 16 bit).
Can I upload my professionally produced demo with music and sound effects?
You can, but it's not recommended. We prefer you upload only samples that represent the exact quality you would be able to provide our clients in the case they send a project your way. Also, professionally produced demos usually include several voices in one file and too many processes that may degrade the overall quality of the file. This is not recommended as our clients like to listen to separate files per each voice you can do.
How long will it take for the system to let me know whether the sample has been rejected or not?
It will take around 48 hours. Notice that the system will only notify you if the sample has been rejected.
